The X7 xDrive40i is powered by a new 3.0L TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder, which has been given a significant 40-hp boost to 375 hp. Performance The 2023 X7 offers a choice of two engines. The even posher Alpina XB7 will follow in early 2023. For the Canadian market, BMW will initially offer the X7 in two versions, the xDrive40i and the M60i. Its 21-inch alloy wheels along with a higher stance give it a commanding presence on the road. The BMW X7 has a muscular and imposing exterior design with a large chrome grille, sleek LED headlights, and a sporty bumper. Further, an eight-speed automatic (TC) transmission system transfers the engine power to the drive train. In the diesel variants, this engine churns out up to 335bhp of peak power and 700 Nm of peak torque. The BMW X7 comes with a 2993cc six-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder configuration to pump out a peak power and torque of 375bhp and 520 Nm, respectively, in the petrol variants.
